Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, is “Moving Forward” as it continues to grow its manufacturing operations. We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Maintenance Team as Maintenance Technicians. This position will work a 12-hour rotating schedule with occasional overtime. The starting pay rate is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to (this is not a complete job description):
Working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Conducting skilled repairs on production machinery and auxiliary equipment during the assigned shift at an acceptable quality level to meet or exceed expectations
Reviewing preventive and corrective maintenance schedule to determine priorities for the assigned shift
Working independently within established procedures associated with the specific task to be completed
Performing operations, maintenance, and repairs at a skilled level in one (2) or more trades (Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Welding, etc.)
Utilizing multiple skilled trades to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic repairs and installation
Performing maintenance on, and troubleshooting pneumatic, electronic, and low-voltage control system
Standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching while working on machinery or equipment
lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors. Performing job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather)
5 years maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
previous experience with using hand and power tools
Power industrial truck certification
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand English
12-hour shifts including weekends
Successfully completing Drug and Background Screening.
